Sedgemoor accessible adaptation to listed home

The brief for this modest project was to adapt the existing Grade II listed home in Sedgemoor for the client, who has multiple-sclerosis.  As part of the building dates back to the 12th century, and automated doors, a stair lift and accessible bathrooms and toilets were required, careful specification of new technologies was required to fit in with the historical context.

The adaptation has allowed the client and his family to remain in their home, and enjoy aspects of life that were becoming too energy and time consuming to undertake, whilst maintaining a richness of fabric not found in many new accessible adaptations.
